We suggest you make your fight and hotel reservations as soon as you can. Many others love the mountains in the summer just as much as we do, so options may become more limited the longer you wait to make your plans.

Besides the beautiful backdrop, the mountains are known for their high altitude. A few things to prepare for before you head out to Beaver Creek: Many people need some time to adjust to the high altitude. Altitude sickness is very common once you get to Beaver Creek from Denver - which includes nausea, dizziness, shortness or breath. Drinking water and electrolytes prior to you trip and even on the plane or dive up will do you well. The altitude also impacts your alcohol consumption. Please know that the impact may have a greater impact when at a high altitude. Please be responsible and be sure to supplement with water.

You can fly into either Denver International Airport (DIA) or Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE). Denver International Airport is larger than Eagle County Regional Airport, so there may be more convenient flights into DIA from your location.

Getting around Beaver Creek is hassle-free with Village Connect – it's as straightforward as using Uber! This complimentary service is available to all guests within Beaver Creek Resort's villages. Just download the Village Connect app, set up your profile, and you're ready to explore the village with ease. The service operates in Beaver Creek Village and Bachelor Gulch from 7 am to midnight. Please note that Arrowhead's service is seasonally closed, and operating hours may adjust during the summer.
While Uber is an option, its availability in Beaver Creek can be inconsistent. For those visiting from out of state or preferring more travel flexibility, we suggest considering a car rental to ensure you have reliable transportation throughout your stay.

Beaver Creek Base Area is 8,080 feet above sea level. The wedding ceremony and reception is 10,200 feet above sea level. Please drink water and wear sunscreen!

Weather Considerations
Daytime Temperature: Estimated to be in the mid-70s.
Nighttime Temperature: Can flex between 50-60 degrees.
Weather Changes: Be prepared for potential weather changes. Layers are your best friend!
Footwear: We advise against wearing stilettos due to gravel paths. Opt for block heels or wedges instead.
Dress Code: Black Tie / Black Tie Optional
This is a black tie/ black tie optional event, so we encourage you to dress to impress! Here are some recommendations on attire:
For Women
Dresses: Long evening gowns or elegant cocktail dresses are perfect.
Shoes: Choose stylish yet practical shoes like block heels, wedges, or dressy flats.
Outerwear: Bring a stylish shawl, wrap, or a formal jacket to stay warm as temperatures drop in the evening.
For Men
Suits: A classic suit, tux, or sport coat with a dress shirt and a tie is ideal.
Shoes: Formal dress shoes are appropriate. Ensure they are comfortable for walking on gravel paths.
Outerwear: A formal coat or jacket might be necessary for the cooler evening temperatures.
What Not to Wear
To maintain the elegance of our black tie event, we kindly ask that you avoid the following:
Jeans or Denim: No jeans or denim attire, please.
Casual Attire: This includes t-shirts, shorts, or any casual wear.
Athletic Wear: No sneakers, sportswear, or athletic shoes.
Overly Casual Footwear: Avoid flip-flops, sandals, or any overly casual footwear.

The average temperature is Typically warm and sunny, with the average being about 70 degrees. While it is normally dry in Colorado in September, we recommend preparing for any type weather. Even though our reception is indoors, Colorado fall can be a bit chilly so bring a coat for whenever you are outside.

Parking Lot Shuttle Service:
Enjoy complimentary shuttle service connecting the Bear Lot, the Elk Lot, and the Covered Bridge within Beaver Creek Village. Operating daily from 5:30 AM to 1:00 AM, there's no need to book in advance. Simply use the Village Connect app to monitor the shuttle's real-time arrival.

We aim to maintain an intimate setting for our special day, so we kindly request that guests only bring a plus one if it was explicitly mentioned in their invitation. For those who have been allocated a plus one, please include their details when you RSVP. Unfortunately, to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, we cannot accommodate additional attendees beyond those specifically invited. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep our celebration personal and memorable.
